A lovely antique Victorian ebonised stool / bench, made in England and dating from around the 1890-1900 period.

It is of very fine quality and is a useful size. The ebonised solid wood frame has beautifully turned and fluted legs, there is lovely gold embellished carving around the edges.

We have had the frame cleaned up and re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor surface wear here and there to the frame, commensurate for age.
