Very impressive antique Swedish Bombe commode chest which is in lovely condition. There are a few woods involved like Rosewood, Kingwood & other woods. It's also finely inlaid & there are probably some other woods within this piece. This commode has a marble top which is also in good condition. It has gilt bronze mounts, handles & escutcheons, which are naturally aged. This piece has stunning panels all over & the figuring within the woods is amazing too as is the rich colour. Please enlarge all the images to really appreciate all the features. I would date this piece to around the 1890-1910 period.
