Antique silver pocket watch, Swedish coat of Arms
An antique silver pocket watch with Swedish coat of arms.
The watch has a key-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover upon which are engraved various details of the movement.
The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver… originally there would have been rose gold wash highlights but these have worn off, or been polished off, over the years. The back of the watch has the Swedish coat of arms.
The watch glass is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is in lovely condition and the ornate hands are a particularly handsome feature… the ornate hands were very popular in the Scandinavian countries around the early 1900s. There is also a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
