English Oak Early Georgian Coffer Mule Chest - Locking Lower Drawers - c1720

A very pleasing original coffer chest presented in good antique condition
Usefully sized and offering practicality with classic antique charm
Of interest displaying quality geometric hand-carved detail throughout and showing the letters A & F to the two central panels
In solid oak with a desirable aged tone
Rising from traditional extended stiles with four panel front and twin fielded panels to the sides
The upper flap opens to reveal a clean interior, and is supported with the inner fitted candle box lid
Chest benefits from working iron lock and key
Lower drawers, with oak linings and turned pulls, add to the storage space - these can be locked from the interior with drop rods
