Quality Victorian Hall Bench - English Oak - c1850

This classic oak bench provides huge interest originating from English oak reclaimed during Victorian period from a 14th century Warwickshire chapel.

It is presented in very good antique order and displays the brass plaque for the maker on the underskirt. Further information regarding the history of the church can be found using this link

Rising from bobbin feet with perimeter stretcher through charming barley twist legs with cotton reel upper.

The upper oak seat with rounded edge provides solid seating and fine character.

This desirable piece displays pleasingly and will work as a seat in any location or as a long stand or display piece.
