A charming and highly collectable pen or nib wipe, made from sterling silver in the form of a coal hod or scuttle.

It stands on two legs and has a wonderfully decorative handle.

There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1905, making this an Edwardian example the makers initials are also present for the silversmith, W J Myatt & Co. 3" x 1 7/8" x 2 1/8" tall.
