This antique William IV rosewood coffee table probably started out as a stool back in the 1840's period. At some point it's been adapted into a coffee table by adding a marble top. You can see where the carved cabriole legs have originally been hollowed out underneath to take casters. The frame is wonderful quality with a strong curvaceous look & has a great all round shape. This coffee table is in good condition, structurally sound & has just been polished. The marble is fixed to the frame.
