This antique solid mahogany table could be used as a desk, side table or dressing table. It's wonderful quality, in great condition & I would date it to around the 1830-40's period. It has the look of a 'Gillows' piece, but it's not signed. The mahogany top has a lovely grain to it. The drawers have the original turned handles & fine dovetails. It has beautifully turned reeded legs with original brass capped casters & the back of this piece is polished too. It makes a change to find a piece like this that hasn't been leathered, so it has more versatility.
