This antique mahogany leather top pedestal desk is in lovely original condition. It has a tooled leather writing surface & a gadrooned top edge. The front vertical edges are all reeded & it sits on a plinth base. All the drawers have locks & original brass swan neck handles. They are also graduated & have fine dovetails. The back of this desk is finished & polished too, so it looks good free standing. It lifts apart into three sections & there are casters under the plinths. I would date it to around the 1890-1910 period.
