antique edwardian low mahogany sutherland/spider leg coffee table. This antique small drop leaf wine/lamp/side/occasional table is constructed from good quality fiddle back mahogany with ebony line inlay and then further crossbanded in a rosewood band. The two leaves fold down to make a small compact coffee table. The whole is raised on solid turned mahogany legs terminating in pad feet typical of the 18th century Georgian designs. To the underside is the original makers label. Circa 1915.
