A superb quality Victorian stool with a finely upholstered lift up seat opening to a large under-seat storage area flanked by wonderfully tall accentuated handle/armrests and raised on pretty, beautifully turned legs.

Once a commode, this piece has been converted to provide a useful internal storage compartment and would work wonderfully in a hall or any living space.

Excellent condition, all structurally solid and in good order with just some fabulous aged colour and patina to the mahogany surfaces. The upholstery is in excellent clean condition.
