A very unusual French cherry wood panelled kingsize antique bed, circa 1800, possibly earlier

Great proportions to the frame and great "provincial" style, so this bed will look amazing in a traditional home as well as a smart contemporary apartment!

Lovely rich colour to the cherry wood and very well carved

The bed will hold a full 5' x 6'6'' kingsize mattress within the frame, or if you wanted to go for the absolute maximum frame width to get the biggest mattress possible, it will hold a 5'6'' wide mattress

We supply you the bed including the supporting box base so it is ready to hold your mattress - we can offer you a range of pocket sprung mattresses too if you need one?

The bed is in good condition, we have restored it where necessary, but you will see some signs of age on the frame, fair enough after a couple of hundred years!

The headboard is 56'' high
The foot board is 24'' high...so the mattress will be basically the same height when made up
