This is a super 19th century Japanese hardwood corner shelf with Shibayama work detail dating from the Meiji period circa 1880. The display shelves are in a beautiful hardwood which has a lovely colour and antique patina and is beautifully inlaid with fine Shibayama work depicting birds and bamboo, flowers and foliage.

This is in excellent original condition.
The shelves measure 76 cms high 30 cms wide 30 cms deep.
