Nice quality antique revolving bookcase in mahogany, with strong satinwood bandings & inlays on the top. There is also an exquisite marquetry in the middle with musical instruments. This is one of the better versions of this kind of thing, being quite sturdy & robust. Also, you will be surprised how many books it holds. The main section spins around on a wooden base that has the original casters underneath. It has just been polished, so is in good condition & dates from around the 1890-1910 period.
