A superb antique Georgian period mahogany console / writing table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.

It is of wonderful quality, it is a lovely size and it is beautifully designed. The mahogany displays a wonderful patina and gorgeous colour tones. There is a single drawer with turned mahogany handles, this stands on finely tapered legs. The back is also nicely polished.

We have had it re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. There are just some minor marks and indentations remaining beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
