Antique French Inlaid Marble Top Cabinet
This antique French style marble top cabinet is of very high quality & very colourful too. I would date it to around the 1930’s period & it’s in good original condition. The marble top which has lovely patterns looks like it’s been repaired sometime ago. It’s hard to tell at first, because it was a very professional job & I wouldn’t worry about that. There are loads of different woods involved in this cabinet, like burr walnut, kingwood, mahogany, satinwood & many more exotic woods within the marquetry & inlays. It also has gilt bronze mounts & feet all over. I particularly like the four floral marquetry panels around the middle & especially the bulbous panels on the doors. The inside is also well fitted out & polished.
