French hardwood bed from around 1900. It’s ornately carved with quarter veneer panels. No base currently we can make slats and supports for it if required (extra £100).

It needs a clean and wax and there are some faults the crest has been repaired (strongly), there is a piece of beading missing from the footboard, and some carving from one foot, and a little damage to the footboard crest. All pictured, and reflected in the price..

This bed will take a standard 54″ double mattress, if slatted over the top of the sides. A common problem with French beds but easily solved. Ask us for instructions if you like.

Generally £20-40 for 30-40 miles radius from Hastings.For London and further afield we use a trusted courier please ask for a quote. As a guideline, a chest of drawers to London is usually £50 and comes within 1-2 weeks. You might wait up to 3-4 weeks to far flung corners of the country. If that's too long, we can arrange another courier but that might be more expensive.

Help with larger items will be required your end, unless you pay for an extra body (not cheap..) and whilst he doesn't just dump it at the kerbside, he'll grumble if he has to do four trips up three flights of stairs, in which case, ask nicely, give him a bit extra and offer him a cup of tea..
