A stunning original antique French stool, beautifully carved from solid walnut & dating to around the 1880-1900 period.

This is exquisitely carved, beautifully shaped & the quality is fantastic. It has an elegant and shapely base, with French cabriole legs, shaped stretchers & a serpentine shaped seating area. Please enlarge all the images to see the beautiful carvings on the frame & the fabulous twisted finial on the middle of the stretchers.

We have had the frame re-polished and the seat re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric, the condition is excellent for its age.
