This handsome inkwell or inkstand is made from an extremely hefty piece of cast bronze, beautifully executed with a resting horse being the star attraction. The sides are decorated with Bee motifs and the front incorporates a shell shaped desk-tidy tray.

The two inkwells can be removed and in turn have glass removable glass liners.

Dating to around 1890, it remains in excellent condition. 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" x 4 1/2" tall.
