A fabulous late Victorian desk accessory, an unusual naturalistic leaf shaped tray with an Owl sitting on a tree branch. The head of the Owl opens to reveal the ink chamber within, the Owl is lucky enough to retain his two little glass eyes.

Brass or Bronze and beautifully cast. Victorian in era dating to around 1890. Excellent condition measuring 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" tall.
