A fabulous large English Victorian letter rack or stationery holder made from solid cast brass. The front and back panels are beautifully decorated with pierced or reticulated work incorporating a pair of wings. Even the central division is beautifully decorated supporting the cast handle.

All four sides has an integral pen rest with troughs running around all four sides supported on four feet.

Dating to around 1880 / 1890 it remains in superb polished condition. The footprint measures 10" x 5 1/2" and stands 7" tall to top of handle.
