This antique leather deep buttoned chesterfield sofa is a real character piece & extremely comfortable too. Some of these models with the buttoned seats can be very hard to sit on, but this one is just right. The leather is in very good original condition & is naturally distressed with a wonderful colour. There are no tears or splits, only natural old markings. It's hand studded & sits on bun feet. Please do not confuse this chesterfield with all the mass produced ones out there. This one was hand made & hand coloured. I would say it dates to around the 1920-30's period & it's one of the nicest ones I've come across.
