A fabulous and unusual biscuit box or barrel, just in time for the holidays, not only is the crystal beautifully hand cut, the top portion is copper wheel engraved with a Holly Garland.

The domed lid is silver plated, as is the folding handle and collar. The lid is beautifully engraved and the underside has the silversmith's initials C J A for Charles James Allen.

Dating to the Victorian era, around 1890, the piece remains in superb condition. Approx. 5" in diameter x 7" tall to top of lid finial.
