A gorgeous and useful antique mahogany bureau on legs. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

It is of amazing quality, the mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and beautiful grain patterns. The top cabinet has a fantastic shape and the drop down flap opens to reveal ample work space with a leather top writing surface. The interior has many shaped pigeon holes & compartments. The two drawers have a concave shape, with brass handles & locks. This bureau has reeded canted corners & reeded sabre legs, which are sturdy and elegant.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
