This antique walnut cocktail cabinet is in good original condition & also exceptional quality. I would date it to around the 1910-20's period & this piece has just been polished. The door fronts are burr walnut, with herringbone inlay & walnut cross banding out side. The drawers have burr walnut on the fronts too. The escutcheons & hinges are beautifully etched brass. The inside of the top half of this cabinet is stunning & beautifully fitted out. Look at the wood work on the inside of the doors. The shelves are well shaped, there's a mirrored back & a pull out slide for serving drinks on. There's also a fitted light inside, but that will need to be checked & re-wired for safety reasons. The legs are solid walnut, with shell carvings on the tops & hoof shape feet.
