This is a High Art Deco side cabinet with pull out writing section by one of the most prestigious retailers of all time Hamptons of Pall Mall retailers to Royalty through the ages. Long since gone now and there name is almost gone with the wind this piece would have cost the earth in its day. It is made from Oak with and ebonised base. It has a single door that hinges on the right hand side with open section above. Just below the main top surface is a pull out writing slide for putting things on. A great piece by a great retailer, there is a couple of faded ink stains so please see the pics.
