Antique American Mahogany Roll Top Pedestal Desk
This is a good example of a very good quality Victorian period roll top pedestal desk, circa 1885 - 1890.

This is a large mahogany American free standing roll top pedestal desk, circa 1885 – 1890. The desk boasts 28 small oak fronted internal drawers with beech / sycamore drawer linings. The 6 drawers to the base have moulded fronts, the lower right pedestal drawer being a deep filing drawer. A central drawer connects the two pedestals.
The sides of the desk are “S” shaped and have moulded panels allowing the desk to sit freestanding in the centre of a room. The desk is complete with working keys which operate a secret locking mechanism for the fall and all exterior drawers. The desk also features 2 sliding tops to support paperwork.
This desk would look superb in a variety of rooms from the work place to the home office. The desk would certainly grace any home or office and a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

Delivery to any address in mainland England & Wales is £100. For delivery to Scotland & Ireland, please email for a quote. If you wish to avoid the delivery cost, you can collect the item in person. We will inform you by email and/or telephone and provide you with full delivery details including when to expect delivery. Delivery times are between 1-4 weeks (depending on location).
Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. You will be given a refund (excluding delivery cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. The buyer is required to cover the cost of transit if the item is returned.
