An exceptional quality walnut duet stand. Raised on a tripod base with carved cabriole legs and scroll feet, which support a turned, carved and fluted column. The sheet music stands are beautifully fretted, in foliate designs, have adjustable angles and are telescopic for height adjustment. It is made from walnut and burl walnut which is highlighted with parcel gilt and retains its original gild lacquered candle sconces. In exceptionally good and original condition. 1220mm high (variable) 480mm wide and 510mm deep. English.
