Ambergs Patent Cabinet Letter File, manufactured from 1890, the pasted written file index is dated 1892 so this is an early one. the brass internal fittings and springs along with the external brass plates have been previously removed. We have cleaned and waxed the oak and kept it as found, lived in Woolwich SE London for most of its life. USA company with a London office
