This Aberdeen Scottish provincial fiddle pattern silver tea spoon was made by George Sangster.
The spoon's finial has been engraved "CH".

The spoon carries the mark for George alongside an Aberdeen "ABD" mark, the Edinburgh assay office marks with the date letter for 1859, the thistle silver standard mark, and a young Queen Victoria head duty mark.

George Sangster is known to have worked between c1839 and c1873.

The spoon is in very good condition.

The spoon measures 14.6 cm (5.8") long, and weighs 19g.
