A Victorian Walnut Pedestal Desk
A late Victorian Walnut Pedestal Desk, having 9 drawers all retaining the original and decorative brass handles and escutcheons. The drawers all beautifully Mahogany lined and retain the original high quality Hobbs & Co locks. The top recently re-leathered in a green hide with tooled and gilt decoration. The desk finished to the back and sides with good colour, the whole raised on a plinth base with inset castors. Excellent proportions and generous kneehole.
