This attractive chest is in pale Cuban mahogany and has mahogany lined drawers with original turned wooden knobs, the drawer fronts are leathered and gold tooled and although not the original the chest was, in fact, designed this way. In very good condition. 1220mm high, 610mm wide and 370mm deep. Circa 1850. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
