A Superb Gothic Carved Oak Double bed

This Jacobean Style Panelled Oak is made from original carved Oak panels and pilasters, the bed was put together in this form in the 19th Century, the wood may have come from Wall Panelling or from a piece 17th Century Furniture
The high head board has a linen fold carved decoration, the foot of the bed is low and will allow the display of bed linens

The bed takes a standard double mattress (54” x 76”) it is good and sound when assembled and we have had a slatted base made to match

The bed head is 60” high, it is 81” long and 54” wide
