A magnificent set of late Victorian 6 +2 mahogany Chippendale style dining chairs with stuffover seats in hide and close nailed. The square section front legs and the back legs are carved with blind fret detail with corner frets under the seats. Superb quality carving to the centre splats. Good quality dense mahogany. Circa 1890
