Beautifully carved with scroll toes and floral knees, shaped rails with central cartouches. The particularly unusual feature of this stool is the fact that it retains its original tapestry upholstery which we have had cleaned and repaired. A rare find in excellent condition. 500mm high, 1100mm wide and 310mm deep. Circa 1860. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
