A Mahogany Breakfront Library Bookcase bookcase  Gillows
A fine George III mahogany bookcase of diminutive proportions attributed to Gillows. Raised on turned feet above which are stop fluted and reeded columns. The panel doors conceal shelved interiors and the centre drawer is fitted with a secretaire. The upper section has simple arch topped astragal glazed doors and the cornice is finished with turned and carved finials. Good original condition and retaining a good surface and color throughout. 2050mm high, 1520mm wide and 480mm deep. Circa 1815.
