A Large 17th Century Carved Oak Coffer

This is a lovely old piece, with a superb patina, the chest has three panels on the front decorated with a wide carved border at the top
On the top of the coffer there are 3 moulded panels
The chest stands on stile feet and has some very old iron work on the front
This is a very pleasing piece with good patina and in good condition for its age

The coffer is 54” long, 21” deep and 27” high
