A gents silver Rotary wrist watch, 1918

The watch has a hand-winding movement, signed Rotary, which is working nicely and keeping good time to within around five minutes over 24 hours. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the articulated lugs. As with many period gents watches, it is on the small side so would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both case backs for Glasgow (import mark), 1918. The front of the case is in good condition while the back has some unevenness.
The lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial has a charming appearance with Breguet style hands, the attractive arched words over the sub seconds dial, and an outer minute track. There are four faint hairline cracks radiating from the centre.
