A French Art Deco carved mahogany double bed
A charming, romantically carved mahogany double bed made in France in the 1930's. The design is floral with an Egyptian influence.
The headboard is 152cm wide and 133cm high, the foot-board is 69cm high. The bed has mahogany sideboards fitted to take a drop in matress 144cm wide (56.5 ins) and 202cm long (73.5 ins)
The bed is in very good condition, the headboard is very clean, there are signs of use on the foot-board where people would regularly have passed but nothing serious. There has been some woodworm in the foot of the foot-board but not recently.
This bed is part of a suite, there is a matching wardrobe and bedside cabinet but can be purchaced on its own.
