In Rio rosewood with a double brass line inlaid into the top finishing with a scroll and dart in the corners. The drawers are cedar lined and have boxwood stringing. The base is particularly unusual, the four legs being large "C" scrolls held together with an "x" stretcher. All the metal work is original with the exception on the brass knobs and the table is in very good and sympathetically restored condition. 720mm high, 1485mm wide when open and 940mm wide when closed and 720mm deep. Circa 1825.
