A Bryn Mawr oak desk and chair
A 3 drawer Arts & Crafts oak desk designed by by Paul Matt for Bryn Mawr Furniture c.1930. Made of well figured quarter sawn oak with raised and bevelled panels and with square wedge shaped handles fixed in place with exposed pegs. Together with a matching chair also made by Bryn Mawr Furniture around the same time.
Both the desk and chair are in very good condition and have Bryn Mawr lables on the legs. The deep green leather top has a few scuffs but appears to be original
Size - Desk - 92cm wide x 47cm depth x 77cm high, Knee space 59cm high.
Size - chair - 41cm wide x 46cm depth x 87cm high.
