Set of Three Antique Oak Stacking Bookcases
Set of Three English Antique Oak Stacking Bookcases.
This is a very good quality run of Edwardian antique oak bookcases.
They are designed to stand alone as each side is finished to be seen, but this set of three have been together along a wall all their life.
So, we would like to keep them together if possible but we may split them.
They date from around 1900-10 and are made from solid oak, not like cheaper ply wood models.
Each bookcase is made up of five, glazed stacking box bookcases, all the glass fronts lift up and slide back within the bookcase.
Two bookcases are identical and one bookcase, pictured centre, features a single oak storage drawer at the bottom.
The oak quarter sawn timber used is well grained and is a lovely warm colour.
This set of antique oak bookcases are perfect for an office of library, they are a simple, yet timless designed bookcase in very good, clean condition.
All three are complete with all the original brass, knob handles.
This antique oak bookcasing is now at Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
Priced together. DimensionsHeight 189cm (74.41") Width 87cm (34.25") Depth 31cm (12.2") Additional Information Above measurements are for 1 bookcase. Three together are 261cm wide.
