This vintage powder compact is suitable for use with modern loose & solid / pressed face powder or as a handbag mirror.
A beautiful Melissa convertible powder compact in good condition. The lid is decorated with crimson enamel, gold and white floral motifs. There isn't any loss of design. The mirror is excellent & gives an accurate reflection. The mirror bezel is engraved 'Melissa Made in England' in elegant script. The powder well still has the pristine protective waxed paper insert. The original puff & velour edged sifter are in place. The base is decorated with an engraved design that has the woven effect.
This vintage powder compact measures 7.1 cm & weighs 63.8 grams.
