A Large 19th Century North African Folk Art Pierced, Painted 4 Fold Screen
This is a Very Heavy Piece it has been hand made in hard wood and painted with traditional colours, and the paint now has developed a genuine shabby but still colourful appearance
Each fold of the screen has several pierced panels surrounding central panels which are painted with flowers and the screen is painted on both sides
