Absolutely stunning large Silver Plated Claret Jug.
Heavy slice cut and etched body with bevelled edged pattern both to the front and back.
It is a very substantial impressive collectable Item.
The crème de la crème of Claret Jugs!!!

This rococo style continental jug has a cover with figural Baccanalian finial.
The spout is decorated in relief with a female mask and all the mounts have foliate motifs and flower heads.
The leaf capped scroll handle is good to hold, but it is a good weight.
