This is a beautiful Chinese lacquer table cabinet which dates from around 1850. The black lacquer cabinet with flared cornice and panel doors is exquisitely hand decorated and gilded with figures in pretty landscapes and intricate foliate designs. The interior has five drawers with turned handles and further floral gilt decoration, and the cabinet is raised on winged dragon feet. There is some slight rubbing to the lacquer on the cabinet top commensurate with its age but overall this is in nice original condition. The cabinet is 41 cm high, 34 cm wide and 18 cm deep.
