19th Cent.Tortoiseshell Card Case/Aide Memoire. Tortoiseshell Silver Gilt Card Case
A lovely Victorian Tortoiseshell Card Case/Aide Memoire with Silver Gilt Pique work to front and back.The Inlay is very fine and none is 'lifting'It opens to reveal two pockets for visiting cards and also holds a Silver engine turned Pencil set with a Cornelian to the top.It is lined with Dusky Rose Pink Moire Silk . Dimensions are -9.7cms x 6.7cms and dates from c. 1870 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
