A very decorative 19th Century painted Chinese rice, grain chest or coffee table. Original painted finish depicting hand painted scenes of Chinese life. A lift off lid above canted corners, bamboo banding and a pair of patinated bronze carrying handles. Makes a great coffee table or accent piece with a large storage capacity. A bold and decorative statement for a variety of interiors.
