This magnificent 19th C. Aesthetic movement ebonised side cabinet features shaped angled sides with gold ground painted panels depicting the four seasons, titled Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The painted panels are signed with the monogram JS. The cabinet has a central front cupboard and beveled glass doors on each side with brass mounts. It measures 65 ½ in – 166.4 cm wide, 17 ¾ in – 45 cm deep and 60 ¾ in – 154.3 cm high. Thomas Crabb Antiques was founded in 1979 and is run by Stephen Roy Thomas.
