1930 Government 2 Drawer Oak Desk, Green Top
A cracker and presented in fine condition and such a neat size. Marked with GRV and the crown logo on the underside of the top towards the front, denoting that the desk was inventoried during the reign of George VI and was first used in a government building.
The green top is original with the oak edge, again, appropriately worn with time, numerous dimples but no rips or tears to the green insert. The drawers bear the original GR stamped cupped brass handles and locks are present however no keys. The slightly tapered legs are very much of the type and era and are in decent shape with no repairs or faults.
The desk has been checked over, cleaned and lightly waxed.
A classic English work desk aging well and of an accommodating size.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
